January saw Washington and the Eastern Seaboard hit by a severe snowstorm. This was certainly the worse that we’d ever witnessed and that includes the five years we spent in Moscow (2000-2005), and a very distant memory of the UK in 1961. We are still snowed in as I type this blog, as we await the contractors who will clear the access road to our community.
We ventured out this morning to walk to our nearest Starbucks as we do most Sunday’s, but unfortunately this was closed! On the way I took these photographs of our community and Clark House, which was once the farmhouse of a local dairy farm that once stood on the site.
