Taurito Sunset
We spent a fortnight on Gran Canaria in June for our mail summer holiday. I fly a lot with my work so I didn't fancy anything long haul this summer. We stayed in Taurito which was about a 45 minute transfer from the airport. The temperature was in the 24-28C range for the entire fortnight and apart from about 3 drops on a taxi windscreen we didn’t see any rain whilst we were there. The weather stays reasonably consistent throughout the summer and although it can be a little windy at times we didn’t experience much until we ventured into the mountains on one of our excursions where the scenery offered up some great landscapes. We also took a boat trip from the nearby Puerto Morgan. All the photographs here are made on the Sony A6500 with the 16-70 F4 Zeiss lens or the iPhone 6S+ and edited in Lightroom.

Into the valley - The scenery in the mountains is well worth the effort to go up there.
