Hong Kong waterfront taken from Kowloon
April has been a particularly busy month for travel. I flew back from Dubai on 1 April and then found myself in Bangalore and Mumbai a couple of weeks later, back in the UK for a week and then off to Hong Kong for a couple of nights which is the subject of this months blog.
I flew out and back on Cathy Pacific, out on the Sunday via Gatwick and back late on Wednesday into Heathrow. The flight was just under twelve hours so I arrived in Hong Kong the following day in the early morning local time. I took the airport express to Hong Kong Central and then by taxi from there to the hotel where I met up with a colleague. I was last in Hong Kong back in 1997 but things were pretty much as I remembered.
We’d managed to get the business done by the end of day two so we headed over to Kowloon on the ferry from where most of these shots were made. The weather was overcast with some rain but this made for some more dramatic skies.
These were all shot on my Sony A6500 and edited in Lightroom.
