Beachy Head Lighthouse
I have been meaning to revisit Beachy Head for a long time and finally made it there this month. I really want to go back again when the conditions are rougher to capture the waves crashing around the lighthouse and I'll post the results here at a later date. At one point when I was by the side of the Bomber Command Memorial a couple of By-Planes flew over but they were two high for me to see what they were, but shortly after a lone Spitfire appeared in the sky above me. Unfortunately I didn’t have lens large enough to grab any decent shots but I was privileged to have my own air display as the Merlin engine thrust the Spitfire into a steep dive and then it performed a victory role in the direction of Seaford. These shots were made on my Nikon D800 coupled with the Nikkor 70-200 f2.8 and my Sony A600 with the 16-70 f4.
