Haywards Heath - South Road

For this months blog I have made a few shots of our now home town of Haywards Heath in West Sussex. We have lived here off and on since August 1994 when we moved back from a tour of duty in South Africa. This was followed by further overseas assignments between 2000-2017, so we have lived here intermittently up to our permanent return to the UK in 2017. To my eye Haywards Heath has steadily gone down hill over the years, not helped by the economic downturn in recent years and the pressure brought about by the Covid 19 pandemic which has hit the smaller businesses particularly hard.

I probably need to do a more detailed blog about Haywards Heath with more general photographs at some point in the future.

This shop was originally a chemist, now an upmarket boutique. I am not sure Veterinary Medicines and Surgical Requirements are relevant, but then again.....
